Grape info: Sourced mainly from declassified Meursault vines, planted by Pascal’s father, seventy years ago.
About: Fifth-generation winemaker Pascal Prunier-Bonheur took over the estate from his father in 1983. Today the estate is spread over 8 hectares across Saint-Romain, towards Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Meursault and Pommard. Combining tradition and modernity their wines are known for their elegance andreasonable prices.
Wines are aged for eleven months in oak before bottling.
Tasting note: Floral and fruity nose with hints of citrus. Buttery on the palate with a refreshing acidity and good length.
Character: Citrus Floral, buttery
